SweepDisk is a disk-cleanup utility for Windows. This policy explains exactly what it does with your data. The short version: the free scan never leaves your PC, and even the paid analysis only ever sees a list of your files — never their contents.
The free categorized scan runs entirely on your computer. No file names, no file contents, and no scan results are uploaded or sent anywhere. There is no account and no tracking.
If you buy a one-time or lifetime cleanup and start it, the app uploads a metadata listing of your files so our cloud AI can recommend what is safe to remove. That listing contains:
It never includes the contents of any file — SweepDisk reads file metadata only and never opens your documents, photos, or code.
SweepDisk never deletes, moves, or changes a file without your explicit click, and everything it cleans goes to the Recycle Bin, so you can restore it.
Payments are processed by Razorpay under their own privacy terms. We store only your payment reference and the license it unlocks.
